Muddle the cucumber in shaker. Add ice, lemon juice, simple syrup, salt, and gin. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds until chilled. Double-strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with cucumber ribbon and serve with a reusable straw.
