Aside from quality rum, the backbone of a good mai tai is two-fold: quality orgeat, and top garnishes. Lean on this trio, and you'll be sipping your way to tropical escape! Shake 1 oz Jamaican gold rum, 1 oz aged rum, ½ oz orange curaçao or Cointreau, 1 oz fresh lime juice, ¾ oz orgeat with ice. Pour unstrained into tumbler, and garnish with orange slice and amarena cherry.
