The origins of the recipe can be traced back to the small town of Ste-Rose-du-Lac, Manitoba, when it was prescribed by a local doctor as a stomach tonic to aid with digestion. A delicious family recipe passed on for over 100 years!
Today, this lemonade syrup is made from scratch in Montréal using fresh lemons, oranges, and grapefruit.
