Handmade using locally sourced ingredients, in batches of no more than 500 bottles. The flavour base is distilled using a moonshine still from western Kentucky, and is designed to complement the infused aromatics.
Locally grown Northwestern Ontario red rhubarb offers a tart complement to floral notes of the bitter orange, the main botanical used in Grand Mariner. The flavour profile for these bitters is balanced out by the slight sweetness of black strap molasses rum, with a crisp, clean bite of gentian on the finish. These bitters provide the perfect complement to a Prosecco cocktail and provide very interesting notes to gin and vodka based drinks.
