B.G. Reynolds' Falernum Recipes

Sailor's Grog 

SAILOR’S GROG
Shake with crushed ice. Pour into double old-fashioned glass. Top with soda and more crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig and orange slice
¾ oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz fresh orange juice
1 oz B.G. Reynolds’ Falernum
½ oz 151 proof demerara rum
1½ oz spiced rum
1 dash Angostura Bitters
¼ oz Pickett’s Medium Spicy Ginger Beer Syrup
1¼ oz soda water (float)

Test Pilot

TEST PILOT
Shake with crushed ice. Pour into double old-fashioned glass. Add more crushed ice to fill. Garnish with cherry
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz B.G. Reynolds’ Falernum
½ oz triple sec
¾ oz light rum
1½ oz dark rum
dash Angostura Bitters
dash Pernod
Luxardo Maraschino Cherry

Falernum Mule

FALERNUM MULE
Muddle all but soda in shaker, add crushed ice and shake. Pour into rocks glass. Top with soda. Garnish with mint sprig and lime wheel
½ oz B.G. Reynolds’ Falernum
6 mint leaves
½ oz fresh lime juice
1¼ oz vodka
½ oz Pickett’s Medium Spicy Ginger Beer Syrup
2 oz soda water 

151 Swizzle

151 SWIZZLE
Shake with crushed ice. Pour into julep cup. Top with crushed ice. Garnish with ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick, swizzle stick, and napkin
1 oz B.G. Reynolds’ Falernum
1½ oz 151-proof rum
6 drops absinthe
½ oz fresh lime juice
1 dash Angostura Bitters

 

 

Corn 'n Oil

CORN & OIL
Squeeze lime wedge into rocks glass. Stir all ingredients in glass. Top with crushed ice. Garnish with squeeze lime wedge
½ oz B.G. Reynolds’ Falernum
1½ oz blackstrap rum
1 lime wedge
